Spend the Fourth of July Holiday with your friends, family, and the rescued farm animals at Farm Sanctuary! On July 4, we’re celebrating everyone’s right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Come meet the cows, goats, sheep, chickens and turkeys, and watch them engage in the natural, daily pursuits that make them happy!
THIS EVENT WILL FEATURE:
Sanctuary time with the animals.
Guided tours will be offered every hour on the hour 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your desired tour.
A picnic featuring veggie hot dogs, potato salad, and other animal-free versions of your favorite summer foods
Creative animal-themed crafts for kids
Our gift shop, offering books, apparel, and other souvenirs
Whether you’ve visited before or brand new to Farm Sanctuary, the Summer Pignic is a great way to meet and learn more about farm animals. The event will take place on Monday, July 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be served from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Admittance fees are $15 for individuals 13 years and up and $10 for children 4-12. Children 3 and under are free.*
Fees will be collected at the door on the day of the event.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Farm Sanctuary, a source of education and inspiration for thousands of individuals each year, relies on the dedication of volunteers. We are currently seeking volunteers for the Summer Pignic, and we would love to have your help!
Volunteers are needed to assist with all aspects of the event: setup, registration, food service, gate assistance, cleanup, and more.
