Farm Sanctuary Celebration Hoedown Conference, Watkins Glen – New York
August 11, 2018 - August 12, 2018
$200
Each year, we invite animal lovers and experts in the animal protection movement to come together, celebrate the lives of the rescued animals at Farm Sanctuary, and share and exchange ways to improve the world for others like them.
Join us for Farm Sanctuary’s annual Hoedown, held at our picturesque New York Shelter in Watkins Glen, NY! Featuring presentations, discussion panels, and book signings by leading experts in the animal protection movement, the conference also provides ample sanctuary time for you to visit the hundreds of rescued animals who call Farm Sanctuary home. Conference attendees are welcome to camp on our beautiful sanctuary grounds surrounded by rolling hills, preserved forests, and happy animals. The conference also provides many opportunities to connect with hundreds of other compassionate guests during delicious catered meals, a cocktail hour, and an evening dance.
Whether you’re a longtime vegan or brand-new to animal protection issues, this is a great opportunity to connect with farm animals, learn more about conditions they face in our modern factory farming system, and discover ways we can improve their lives. The Hoedown holds a very special place in Farm Sanctuary’s history, and we’re excited to celebrate once again with others who are working to create a more compassionate world.
The Hoedown is a wonderful educational and fun-filled gathering for all those who are working together to inspire change in the way society views and treats farm animals, and to make the world more compassionate for all.
Hoedown conference registration is $200 per adult, $150 per child (ages 4–12), and free for children 3 and under. Ticket price includes;
- catered vegan meals throughout the weekend, including lunch on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Saturday night;
- admission to all presentations and activities;
- access to our camping area on sanctuary grounds.
