Offered twice a year, our Advanced Study weekends are dedicated to broadening your understanding of plant-food based nutrition as an alternative to excessive medical intervention. We present the latest cutting-edge research to beginners and professionals alike, in an easy and accessible format. Youêll come away educated, motivated and ready to take your health to the next level.
Expert guests have included Dean Ornish, MD, Neal Barnard, MD, Michael Greger, MD, Henry Heimlich, MD, John Abramson, MD, George Lundberg, MD, H. Gilbert Welch, MD and Howard Lyman as well as many other notable speakers.

Meals served during the weekend dispel a common myth that healthy foods are not satisfying or delicious. Attendees enjoy all-you-can-eat buffet tables filled with Italian Lasagna, Mexican Enchiladas and Burritos, Thai Noodles, Shepherdês Pie, salads, desserts, and more.

Medical care is not provided during this program (unless you’re already a patient of Dr. McDougall’s), but basic blood tests cholesterol, triglycerides, blood sugar, and thyroid function (TSH) are available for a surcharge of $100.
