Who is the Organiser? Satvik Vegan Society (formerly Indian Vegan Society), a member of International Vegetarian Union (IVU) and Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO), has been organising vegan festivals among other activities since its inception in 2004.

Where is the Venue? Sthitaprajna (Simplicity-Solitude-Silence), Hoseri, Yeljit Village, BYNDOOR – 576214, Udupi Dist., Karnataka, India.

What is Sthitaprajna? It is a private forest, grown on vegan principles on a plot of about 3 acres of land near the hills, along a seasonal stream about 12kms from Byndoor on the West Coast of Karnataka in South India, about 450kms west of Bangalore and 200kms south of Goa. It is a place relatively free of pollution (water, air, noise, light and human), close to nature and away from busy city life.

Why this venue? From our experience, we have learnt that most vegans love to be in nature. And we feel this is one of the best places vegans love to be in.

What are the dates? Aug 4-5, 2018 (Saturday to Sunday).

Why these dates? This is the best time of the year here when nature is vibrant with lots of greenery and water.

Who can attend? Anyone who is vegan or who believes in the principles of veganism can attend with advance registration.
